Set up in 2000, The Associazione Strada del Vino Franciacorta comprises a membership of both private operators and public bodies, including wine producers, hotels, stately homes, restaurants, trattorias, inns, agriturismi, wine shops, travel agencies and Town Councils, Tourist Information Centres and several Associations involved in the marketing of Franciacorta. The Association's aim is to promote and develop tourism opportunities in Franciacorta, with a particular emphasis on exploiting the potential of the region's gastronomic and wine tours.
The Associazione Strada del Vino Franciacorta plays a central role in providing technical and administrative support to groups, operators and the independent traveller by providing information and services, as well as planning itineraries to discover in depth the many attractions the area can offer, which for centuries has been a wine producing region stretching from Lake Iseo to the art city of Brescia.
